What is a sat (satoshi)?
A sat (or “satoshi”) is the smallest unit of Bitcoin - like the US dollar has cents, Bitcoin has sats. Because ZEBEDEE runs on Bitcoin, we use sats in all our games, but this is simply a very small amount of Bitcoin.
1 Bitcoin = 100,000,000 sats.
The name comes from the mysterious creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto.
What countries is ZEBEDEE available in?
You will find a full list of countries and regions where our products are supported here. If you do not see your country listed, it means ZEBEDEE is currently not available due to legal restrictions. Hopefully that changes soon.
What can I do with the sats I earned?
You can transfer Bitcoin from the ZBD Wallet to any exchange or other Bitcoin wallet that supports the Lightning Network. Unfortunately, not all wallets support this functionality at this stage, but more are adding support for the Lightning Network all the time!
You can also use your sats to:
  • Tip other players
    1. Simply by texting with ZEBEDEE Bots for Discord and Telegram
    2. Send sats to anyone that has a ZEBEDEE wallet
    3. Tip streamers and content creators on Twitter and Twitch

  • Deposit to exchanges that support Bitcoin Lightning, like:
    1. OKCoin
    2. Bitfinex

  • Shop online with apps like:
    1. Bitrefill
    2. Moon

What are the limits in the ZEBEDEE wallet?
Without verifying your identity, you can send and receive up to 10,000,000 sats per month and hold up to 500,000 sats in your wallet at any time.
Once you’ve verified your identity, the limits increase to 50,000,000 sats volume per month and 5,000,000 sats maximum balance in your wallet.
As both ZEBEDEE and the Bitcoin Lightning Network grow, these limits will increase.
Do I need to verify my identity to use ZEBEDEE?
You do not need to provide any personal information to start using ZEBEDEE. However, without verifying your identity, you can only send and receive up to 10,000,000 sats per month and hold 500,000 sats in your wallet at any time. To increase these limits, you will have to provide photos of your ID and a quick selfie.
This is due to international anti-money laundering regulations, which make it obligatory for us to identify customers that use our products to move significant amounts of money, to make sure we are not aiding in any illegal activity.
How is the ZBD Wallet different from other Bitcoin wallets?
The ZBD Wallet is a Bitcoin Lightning wallet, which means it runs on the Lightning Network, which is a second layer built on top of Bitcoin. It works like any other Lightning wallet, which means transactions are instant and fees are very low (or even zero). But what sets our wallet apart is that it's packed full of unique features for gamers and content creators:
  • Get a static QR code and public profile page to collect donations anywhere online
  • Pair you wallet with other ZBD apps like Discord and Telegram Bots
  • Go cross-platform with our Browser Extensions
  • Coming soon: discover Bitcoin games, special events and challenges inside the Wallet!
What games can I play with Bitcoin?
The list of Bitcoin games you can play is getting larger every day. Here are some titles you might want to check out:

How is it possible to earn Bitcoin for free?
We work with other companies and sponsors to provide the sats inside games. That’s why we’re able to hand out Bitcoin through games without asking for anything in return. We are also investigating other business models, but for now the free sats are provided by sponsors and brands who believe in what we’re building.
Are Bitcoin games just on PC and mobile, or console too?
For now, Bitcoin games only exist for PC and mobile, with casual mobile games leading the way. We're sure console games with Bitcoin integrations will start popping up soon, but it takes a long time to develop a game and this technology is still very new, so it pays to be patient!

What kinds of companies fall under the term "partner"?
A ZEBEDEE partner is basically any company that wants to work with us, but is not a game development studio. Broadly speaking, there are three categories of partners, but feel free to reach out for a partnership even if you do not fall into any of these!
  • Exchanges and FinTechs – Provide on-/off-ramps for ZEBEDEE or integrate our tech into your own products and platforms.
  • Platforms that serve the gaming industry – Like game stores, platforms for game devs, game engine providers and similar.
  • Sponsors and Advertisers -– This can be any company that wants to sponsor Bitcoin games as a way to bring their brand to our highly-engaged community of Bitcoin gamers.
